Claire Sukamto is a Jakarta-born photographic artist based in Chicago.
Motivated by her constant curiosity of the world, she demonstrates an inclination towards reality contortions, existence, and decontextualization within the framework of photography. She is also interested in playing with expectations and juxtapositions through her surface reconstructions while constantly asking how the world works.
